Creative Therapy

One-to-one therapy gives you the chance to delve deeper into areas of your life that you wish to explore, grow or change. Focused on improving your physical, emotion and mental wellbeing, creative therapy is led by your needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic, creative and body-based tools to support your unique journey.

Why therapy?

You may have something specific you want to address in a safe, one-to-one setting, or a general sense of feeling low, stuck, dissatisfied or anxious. Either way, engaging in a therapeutic process can support you to find a way through your experience, understand yourself better, and make changes towards more sustained wellbeing.

Why Creative therapy?

Having creative tools at our disposal - alongside talking - means that we can approach feelings, experiences and issues through a range of different lenses. Images, story, music, movement, role-work and art-work open up a whole world of possibilities within the therapeutic process. They can:

  • tap into your playful, creative self, which is closely linked with your natural propensity for self-healing;

  • hold and contain particularly difficult experiences, offering a safe, aesthetic distance from which to process;

  • support physiological and emotional regulation (calming the nervous system);

  • offer you a space beyond words to explore and transform your inner world.

“Thank you for creating a special space to work and reflect on myself.” Client
